Full-Service Design Process

Discovery & Assessment

Your project begins with a Discovery Call to speak with Robin, discuss the scope of your project, and see if there is a mutual fit. If so, we schedule your Home Assessment.

During the assessment, you will tour your property with Robin, review architectural drawings (for new construction), discuss your style and the way you live in the space, and get tangible advice for your goals. This meeting is followed by a Home Assessment report and proposal to work together.

Conceptual Design

During this phase, Robin coordinates with your extended team - architects, builders, contractors, and trades - to create a uniquely personalized vision for your home.

The Conceptual Design includes spatial planning, moodboards, color palettes, ideas for fixed features (like built-ins), and materials samples for elements like tile, hardwood, fabric, and more. We present it all to you for feedback and, after any requested revisions, final approval.

Design
Development

With our ideas and selections approved, it's time to hammer out the fine details. We transform the creative vision into: precise product selections, renderings and elevation drawings (if needed), and more.

Robin will present these to you, accompanied by quotes that are in alignment with your desired overall investment. We then request your feedback and final approval before making any purchases.

Procurement

The plans are officially complete. Now, it's time to take action! We oversee the procurement of your materials and furnishings, either completely in-house or in conjunction with your contractor.

Procurement includes ordering, purchasing, tracking, receiving, inspecting, and (in Phase 5) installation. We work with high-quality vendors and craftsmen to ensure overall efficiency and confidence in every piece.

Implementation

Depending on the scope of your project, implementation may include new construction, structural remodeling, cosmetic updates, and/or installing furnishings and decor.

During this process, Robin serves as your liaison on-site and on-call, helping the project run smoothly and adhere to the approved design plan. This phase can get messy, but it's where the magic happens!

Styling & Reveal

Next, it's time to layer in the final details that make your house feel just like home. With furniture, fixtures, and window treatments installed, we style the space with accessories and decor that tell your story.

When our work is complete, Robin will invite you to come home and see the results for yourself… Get ready for a Big Reveal that is nothing short of memorable! Welcome home.
