When she moved into a newly renovated 1880 farmhouse to be closer to her adult daughter on the South Shore, this mother and VP realized that her existing furniture would not fit into her new lifestyle. She embraced a clean slate and hired us to furnish the home from top to bottom. To avoid making the space feel sterile, we mixed vintage and new pieces for a collected feel, including highlighting her extensive collection of Russian avant garde pieces. Meanwhile, the sofa, chairs, area rugs, stair runner, and other textiles were chosen with attention to quality and durability. They are sturdy enough for pets but lovely enough for sharing a glass of wine with her daughter.
