This dated coastal cottage has a new lease on life after we gave it some much-needed attention. Home to a retired couple with five adult children, the kitchen had the potential to become more spacious and bring the family together. We took down a wall to expand the footprint and bring in light and color. Using various materials for texture and depth - like these textured porcelain tiles, soft white quartz counters, and reclaimed wood shelves - the kitchen exudes warmth and timelessness. Now, the entire family can gather in this space to soak up each other's company.
