Townhouse Renovation

This couple transitioned from a large suburban home to a beautiful townhouse by the sea. After living in the townhouse and working on the home's main level, they decided to update their first-floor office and guest bathroom. Upon entering the townhouse, these are the first rooms you see and the first impression everyone notices. Both husband and wife work from home and must maximize space and function. We were able to add dramatic paint and woodwork details, as well as some much-needed storage. In the bathroom, this was an opportunity to add an incredible custom wallpaper that works with the colors of the office. This wallpaper is a rendering of Hingham Harbor that highlights their exact location.
KIND WORDS
“When guests entered our home, the office and half bath were the
first rooms they saw and we wanted to make a better impression
and needed more functionality. With custom bookshelves, a
corner desk built-in and a sleeper sofa, Robin maximized our
space and allowed it to double as an extra guest bedroom. She
gently pushed me out of my comfort zone by having the back of
the bookcases and ceiling painted a beautiful blue and finding
stunning light fixtures, furniture, rugs and accessories. I showed
her a picture of a bathroom I loved and she sourced the unique
wallpaper that includes the same blue in the office. Robin is super
enthusiastic and open minded. She listens well and is always
flexible. When it comes to making decisions, I tend to get
overwhelmed with choices and direction. She helps me ‘see the
vision’ and move forward. Our primary bath is next!”
